On the outskirts of Ulrum is the Museum De Eenhoorn. The museum houses a permanent exhibition of the work of painter/artist Johfra. The collection is formed by realistic and figurative painting, mostly in the genre of fantastic realism, from before and after the war years. Johfra's work was considered quite controversial during the war years last century, which subsequently made many curious. The painter gained worldwide fame after many of his paintings were produced as posters by Van Verkerke Reproductions and sold worldwide.
